In most form of meditation you ask yourself, “How do I manipulate my mind? How am I going to force stillness? How can I force peace?" In this method you just train your body so that peace and mindfulness become effortless.

Traditional meditation methods are like getting someone to stop talking by taping his mouth shut. You succeed for a short period of time by using this manipulative technique, but as soon as you take the tape off, they'll start talking again. Most people who use traditional methods of meditation achieve a certain control of the mind and feel very good, profound even. But then they stop meditating. They get up and immediately their mind starts controlling them again.

The Primal Meditation Method is not about achieving five minutes of peace in a one hour meditation session. It's about changing your brain through training so that you'll spontaneously become more mindful in your day to day life.
